Ring Size Guide
Getting Started
Shopping for rings online opens up a world of beautiful possibilities — but finding the perfect fit can sometimes feel uncertain when you can't try the ring on in person.
I completely understand these concerns, which is why I created this guide to help you confidently choose the right size for your handcrafted piece.
Please take a moment to carefully review the information below before placing your order. Since each ring is individually handcrafted to order, exchanges and refunds are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Now, let's help you find your perfect fit! ✨
How To Determine Your Ring Size
1) Measure an Existing Ring
If you already own a ring that fits comfortably but are unsure of its size, you can easily measure it at home.
a) Using a ruler or caliper:
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring
- Measure the band width
- Place the ruler either across the center of the ring or underneath it for accuracy
You are welcome to send me clear photos of your measurements, and I'll gladly help you determine the correct ring size
b) Bring your ring to your local Jewelry store to have it measured.
2) Use a Ring Size Gauge
If you do not know your ring size at all, using a ring sizer is one of the most accurate methods.

A metal ring sizer is especially helpful because it closely mimics the feel of wearing an actual ring. Simply slide the sizer onto your finger until you find a comfortable fit.
For best results:
- The ring sizer should slide on comfortably
- It should rotate easily on your finger
-
It should not feel painfully tight or leave large gaps
Sending me a photo while wearing the ring sizer can also help me confirm the best fit for your chosen design.
3) Use a plastic ring sizer

* Please avoid tightening the ring sizer too much or leaving it too loose. It should slide comfortably onto your finger and rotate easily without leaving noticeable gaps. For additional assistance, you are welcome to send me a photo of the ring sizer worn on your finger so I can help confirm the best fit.
4) Get Professionally Sized at a Local Jeweler
Visiting a local jeweler for professional sizing is always a great option.
However, it's important to ask about the band width they use during sizing, as this can affect how a ring feels:
- Narrow bands tend to fit slightly looser
- Wider bands fit more snugly because they cover more surface area on the finger
The wider the band, the tighter the fit will generally feel.
Design Tips
For Ring Sizes Smaller Than US 4
Rings with smaller circumferences have a tighter curve, which can place additional stress on side settings over time.
For long-term durability and comfort, we recommend:
- Designs with fewer side stones
- Smaller accent gemstones
- Simpler settings for delicate ring sizes
For Ring Sizes Larger Than US 9
Larger ring sizes naturally experience greater structural stress during everyday wear because the band spans a wider circumference.
To ensure proper durability and balance, I recommend:
- A band thickness of at least 1.6 mm
- Slightly sturdier band styles for long-term wear
If the ring you are interested in does not meet this specification, feel free to contact me about customization options.
Using Our Ring Size Chart
To make sizing easier, I've also created an international Ring Size Chart that converts measurements between US & Canada, UK & Australia, and European sizing systems.
You can use the chart to:
- Compare international ring sizes
- Match an existing ring's inner diameter to a standard size
- Convert circumference measurements into ring sizes
- Double-check your measurements before placing your order
For the most accurate results, I recommend measuring your finger or an existing ring carefully and comparing the measurements directly with the chart below. If you find yourself between sizes, sizing up is usually the most comfortable option — especially for wider bands. ✨
